Contingency plans are necessary in any business. This allows the company to be prepared if ever problems are being encountered, especially within the system.

In order to answer the problem, Suarez tied up with Veeam in order to improve the services that they are offering to the public. With its help, 9Bit is now able to work and provide cloud backup services to virtual machines, which already includes the internet itself.

The tie up with Veeam also required reaching out to TwinStrate CloudArray virtual appliances and Google Cloud. It was necessary to complete the process of backing up the information that businesses have stored in the internet, such as emails.

The process goes through several processes; all done through the internet. First, the business stores the date in 9Bit with the help of VMware which is provided by Veeam. Then the information is sent to TwinStrata which will produce copies, keeping one for itself. The other copy is sent to the cloud.

You only store the data once, but you already created three contingencies in case one of the three fails.

Suarez had the inspiration how to improve their services during the Boston Marathon bombing. It was a very hard time for their business since everything was shut down because of the authority’s efforts in finding the culprit. Suarez had two essential things to their business available during that time – UPS and air conditioning. However, he though, how long could this last? That was when he saw the need for contingencies and upped with a lot more convenience.

So, the concept of an improved cloud backup was made.
